The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep
In this fantasy that’s perfect for the whole family, Alex Etel plays a young boy who’s having trouble finding friends — until he discovers a mysterious egg, and out pops a sea creature from Scottish mythology. Bruce Allpress and Eddie Campbell costar.

There Will Be Blood
Daniel-Day Lewis won an Academy Award® for his stunning performance as an oil baron whose drive to prospect, drill and get rich causes him to drive away his only son. Paul Thomas Anderson (Magnolia, Boogie Nights) directed this epic film.

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story
John C. Reilly — a reputable character actor and sideman for years — gets the starring role he deserves here. He stars as a hard-luck musician in this hilarious parody of many a music biopic. The great supporting cast includes Jenna Fischer, Tim Meadows and Chris Parnell.

Lions for Lambs
It all starts with two soldiers who get injured behind enemy lines in Afghanistan. As their story unfolds, it’s revealed how closely they’re connected to a congressman (Tom Cruise) and a journalist (Meryl Streep). Robert Redford stars in and directs this complex drama.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter star in this story about an exiled man who returns to London. He opens a barbershop, and sings a lot of upbeat songs about taking bloody revenge on the aristocrats who banished him.

Alvin and the Chipmunks
Returning from last week, the three lovable chipmunks — Alvin, Simon and Theodore — use their hit-making voices to save the career of a struggling songwriter. Jason Lee (from the sitcom My Name Is Earl) stars alongside computer animated critters.
